Hello, my interest is bus transport history rather than Land Rovers per se - but I hope that someone might respond to this...
I'm interested in a bus company that died many years ago, called the North Western Road Car Company of Stockport. I've written a book on the firm and I even own a vintage bus that the company had.
The firm were clever bods in that they also had a fleet of Series 1 and 2 Land Rovers for use as depot hacks, carrying spare parts, even towing a bus from time to time. And the odd thing is, that even though the company was split up in 1972, two of them are showing on the DVLA database as still around. I would very much like to know if anyone has seen them, or even better if either of their owners frequent these pages and might like to get in touch. The registration numbers were SDB766J and SDB767J.
Has anyone seen either of them knocking around?
