looking for someone

purchased a recent imported d90 for parts in came for a woman in Aylesbury area. i have a signed V5C from her but importers name on it also need to try to reach her to see if she is willing to get a new V5C and send it to me so I could register in US. Looked for her # in phone directory no luck. The truck is worth putting back on the road so any thoughts or help would be great. can you answer why you need another v5c if you have one from importer already

the importer brought it in for other reasons and never register it so i ended up with it for parts but going over it it really only needs a rear crossmember and a few body panels. I would have to trailer back south about 22hrs one way so the state can do a vin check. was told if i was able to get another v5 form with just her name transferred to me i could do the vin check up north. just checking not sure how your motor vehicle dept works.
