looking for some lanes near barnmouth

Has anyone got any light trails they've been on or pdf files of surrounding area of barmouth wales thanks.

Ive read that thread before but did not want to go and by an os map as im only goin on holiday there for a long wkend with the missus, so was just seeing if anyone had any postcodes to the start of any close lanes near barmouth cheers for your help though bgb.

Loads in that area .. many of which you really don't want to do on your own!

The problem you have though is no one on here knows you, so most will be reluctant to just hand out lane details as we dont know how you will behave on them.

Best bet is to see if anyone is around on the dates you want to go and ask if you can tag along. Then they can make there minds up.

I know a few of the lads on here but i do know what you mean i would never go off track but of course you don't know that as you don't know me hopefully one day you will cheers for the info though pal

There are a lot of grumpy landowners and closed lanes around there. I certainly wouldn't want you messing it up for everyone else.

Again like i said i would'nt mess it up for anyone and if i wanted could happily find the lanes myself with an os map.

Like the slipper said, there is a lot of lanes closed around barmouth and fairbourne as there have been land slides in recent years.

I would definately check with the council or ROW officers or you could find yourself in a situation where you have to back out of a narrow lane on the edge of a cliff.

Bomber lane is one with such an issue at the moment.

Yeah slot machines are still there not much has changed in many years. Thanks for all the help think i will wait for a few of you guys to go laning somewhere and join in.

Keep an eye on the forum, there are loads of trip over there as it's a very popular area.

I'm sure one will pop up in good time.
