These are my factory wheels

Factory had 16" or 18" 8J rims with 255 width. Early cars had some 7J rims but with 235 width. I cannot recall what style mine are called (see avatar) but they came with the car and I like them. Others prefer the Hurricanes pattern.

Some people have put 19" rims off the L322 on with spigot rings to adjust the offset but with the condition of our roads you're better off on 16" rims.

If you offroad a lot then you probably want 16" steel rims and maybe sneak the profile up from 65 to 70.

What sort of rims? What are you trying to do?

The p38 has the same PCD & centre bore as a D2. So there are quite a lot of factory rims available in 16" or 18". And some aftermarket options too.

These would be the easiest swap.

Newer Land Rovers use the same PCD, but the centre bore is different. Remember alloys are hubcentric, so they need to fit the centre bore correctly.

19" rims tend to play havoc with the steering if there is any wear in the swivels etc. Only 16" & 18" rims are homologated for the P38. Make sure any rims you buy have the correct weight rating.

Factory designs are listed on Microcat here...

@Grrrrrr has "3 Spoke Futura" on his, mine are "Lightning" and I like them.... but I always promised myself a set of Mondials when I can be bothered.

Yours look like they're listed as "7x16 Silver Sparkle 5 Spoke"
