Freelander 1 Longer roof rails from mk2

Hi, has anyone tried to fit the longer roof rails from the mk2 to a mk1?

I'm wondering if the mounting feet have the same pattern and the rear most support on the longer rails just rests on the roof.

EDIT: Also doubt the centre-to-centre on the first and second fixing points matches the FL1.

I fancy the longer version that look like freelander 2 ones been looking for them for a while

Thanks nodosh - I've seen those brownchurch racks and they're under consideration, the only problem being that I travel with a half width roof box & surfboards, so may need customising. I like the way they bolt onto the roof mounting points without the need for rails.

The longer roof rails would be ideal though.
