Series 3 Loctite601?

Hi all,

Rebuilding my old suffix A Lt76 gearbox. It seems I need Loctite601 bearing retainer. It also seems very difficult to get hold of. Anyone any ideas where I might find some and/or is there an alternative Loctite? Or another manufacturer?

Yes I see that...but £200 for a 250ml bottle!......RScomponents charge £46 for 50ml and they seem the only people who sell 50ml.
Amazon has some much cheaper at about £12 but the bottles are covered in Chinese writing...so is it a cheap copy ?
If it has to be RSComponents then so be it....but is there an alternative.....I heard 609 is the same but sold in Aus/US markets?

It is just a high strength thread locking compound.
Quite a few alternatives available.
