locking wheel nuts

Hi,
Can any one help with any suggestions about none standard locking wheel nuts please.I bought an x demo defender xs 2 weeks ago,only had it four days when someone stole all five wheels on the forth nite
It was fully alarmed (so was I) with locking nuts,new wheel replacements have cost £2000 with new locking nuts which can be bought over the counter at any landy centres.Local police have informed me that a few in the area have been targeted,any sugestions would be most welcome to prevent it happening again,seems that said gang have set of "wheel keys" for all variants.

All locking nuts can be removed, to be honest, if there is a gang targetting them, they will have all the kit, including locking wheel nut removal tools.

Electrify the wheels?

You can get locking nuts that are much harder to remove, and the commonly available tools won't touch them. They are the type where the outer casing just turns when they are locked, thus preventing the usual pin tool from working. Not sure if they are available for the Defender though.
In the LR magazines they advertise XS alloys with tyres 5 for way less than 2K, in fact well under £1000 for 5. e.g This months "Land Rover Owner International" page 71.....4 x Boost (replica) alloys with tyres £595 inc. VAT & delivery.

theres only 4 differrent sets of locking wheelnuts for the disco's & deependers anyway. Shame you've bought new uns as I'd have sold u ur old uns back fer less than £400
