Morning, the grove in the locking wheel nut has been buggered (by someone using and air wrench on it I think ) ... when I try to undo it the tool just slips off.. any suggestions please ? took me 10 mins to do the pads one side and two hours to now even get the pads off on the other

No point in using it if it is damaged, although in an emergency you can get the nut off with a pair of steelsons, it will damage the nut if you do.

Get the code letter off the nut and look on ebay, there are always the whole range on there.

The letter is stamped, quite small, on the outer shank, A or B or C and so on, only a single letter.
