locker lid differences

My 2A only had the middle locker lid on the seat base when I got it. It's very light aly and shiny underneath after a good clean. I'm looking for driver and passenger side lids now to match.

I bought some (photo'd) but when they arrived I found they are a lot thicker and heavier. Are these S3 locker lids that were made differently to earlier Series? Are these repro parts? Something else?

The two with the hasps on look right, mine are galv steel. Could it be that the lid you have is home made?

The one with no hasp goes under drivers seat series 3. May also have been fitted series 2A

Not sure. The lid I've got fits perfectly, it's a better fit than these galv'd ones. I'm going to have to start looking under seats whenever I get near a Series at a show..

Hi scottonthefen, just had a look to confirm my 2a has aly, my 77 series 3 galv and my 1990 90 just painted steel. Somethings just went down hill with Landrover over the years.
