Hi,
Help desp.needed
Battery went flat on my 51 plate dhse rr
opened door with key and popped bonnet, hooked up battery charger and charged up battery.
Closed and secured door with key
Now door will not open with fob or key, display on dash showing key code lock out.

What now..I can't even get in it.

Do you have the key code? I think you will have to enter this via the door lock to get her going again. The key code is a 4 digit number that you have to enter via the drivers door lock. From memory you have to turn key to lock 4 times i.e turn from vertical to horizontal and leave for 5 seconds then back to vertical so on. then enter first digit of you key code the same way but to unlock position then the second digit to the lock position then the third digit to the unlock position and the fourth digit to the lock position then once to unlock and that should get you in. Make sure that you bonnet catches are working as that is why I could not get in to my car as the alarm thought that the bonnet was open and would not accept the key code.

Hope this helps Craig

thanks craig
bonnet is open, only thing that is. I will tie the switch down.
Unfortunately I don't have the key code any idea how I obtain it.
Kind Regards
Colin

Thanks again Ian.
Will try and bluff it as shut.
Dont really want to lock bonnet down as pos. only gateway into vehicle.
I will let you know what happens.
Cheers again

have defeated the bonnet catch and the indicators flashed four times.
Now were getting somewhere I thought.
Still cant get in.
Will get code from dealership hopefully tomorrow and try typing it in through key lock.

Thanks again to all who helped, will report back if I ever open up motor.
Cheers
Colin B

Hi,
Have got code for lock from main dealers, painless procedure.
Still cant get in.
Have taken battery off and re-powered system.
Dashboard shows "key code locked out"
Typed in emergency access code as per the handbook.
Still wont unlock
Anyone anymore thoughts.
Thanks.

When you turn the key in the drivers door lock, what happens?? Does it turn ok or does it feel like there is no resistance??

You should be able to open the door no matter what the status of the alarm and immobiliser with the mechanical key.

-Wills :)

I have two keys and used key number two as no 1 a bit iffy. Batteries are good in both units.
When I turn the key there is no resistance what so ever. I believe the super lock is on?

If there is no resistance then I would imagine the rod from the lock inside has fallen off. Even if its superlocked the mechanical key will still open the lock. Doing the EKA in the door will not be any use becuase the door latch is not sensing the key moving in the lock.

Unfortunately the only course usually in this situation is to pick a window and use a hammer. Before I go on can you remember whether you superlocked the vehicle or not??

-Wills :)

No just locked door as normal.
If I pull latch up on door will that open the door
If I break in will I be able to open the doors

Wills,
Spot on mate.
Did as suggested in PM. 15 secs to get in,quite scary,
Lifted sill lock on drivers door and it opened ok.
What else did you say would be wrong.....oh yes rod had fallen off and as you so rightly pointed out stopped me opening door and entering EKA code.
Re-connected rod(must find something to keep it in place),typed in EKA code to a burst of tones and indicators flashing, and all doors unlocked.
Re-synced key in ignition and all powered up again.
Just need to sync windows and roof etc and realign bonnet catch and all will be done ,except the bit in the PM.

Many Thanks to one and all I'm sure we will speak again, maybe when I need to fix my sunroof that wont open!

Kind Regards
Colin B.

Glad you got it all sorted. Glad you hadnt got it superlocked as well as that would of been a different story with not such a happy ending :D

-Wills :)
