Hi all, I recently purchased a Td5 and one of the keys has already broken from being in my pocket. The key is actually an hourglass shape, the blade, only 4mm wide at the midpoint of the blade.
I've seen the folding flip type keys on fleabay but are there any that are good? One I bought would not fit in the lock, anyone know where I can get a good one? Otherwise I will have to try and replace every lock barrel on the car as I have come to the conclusion that if I can't keep my keys in my pocket I'm really peeved.

No idea on the flip type keys.

But changing the drivers doorlock and ignition barrel is not a difficult job to do.

Cheers

One problem I can foresee with these flip type cases, similar to the D3 type of things is that on the Disco 2 the electronics in the fob must be in close proximity to the ignition lock barrel in order to signal the immobiliser through the sensor coil around the barrel.
I would also say that it's almost immpossible to fit the D2 two button fob electronics into a D3 flip case.

I had a flip key case and it worked fine apart from the fact there wasn't a lot of room to turn the key in the ignition as they are bulkier than the ordinary fobs.
