Was reading a poll earlier for which landy was best for off road an was suprised how not many people went for the lightweight. Why not? I thought they were built for off roading? Aren't they the same as a series except for the body, interior the same etc?

They weren't built for offroading specifically. They were built so that their panels could be removed easily to reduce weight and meant that they could be transported by air, for use in the forces.

there aint that many people on here that have em cos they hold their price well. I would love one for a plaything but just can't justify the cost.

The front wings are invisible from the drivers seat, could be a disadvantage if off roading near trees!
