I've bought new lights for all round my fender clear ones, but these ones have come with what looks like a plug fitting and my old ones aren't like that is there a way of fitting the new ones with a type of crimp or plug cheers.

Is yours a 200tdi or older? They have the old lucas bullet connectors, not plugs like later ones.

I imagine you can buy a loom end that connects to the Landys loom with the correct plug for the lights.

Or send em back for the correct earlier type.

And if your bulb holders are ok why not just buy clear lenses and fit coloured bulbs. Much cheaper and simpler!

what plugs on yours then?my defender bolted strait on though be warned i have had a few issues with the bulb holders the stop /tail kept melting and the indicator bulb keeps coming loose

I had the same problem with mine which were lucas, ended up buying different ones on ebay for £2.95 each and they work perfectly.

Mine is earlier than a 200 tdi I think I will just make them fit more fun in making them work.

Paddocks sell an extension loom to existing lights which has a plug at one end and bullet fittings at the other - I needed to replace one on mine and simply cut off the bullets and connected in with a connector.
