Here's a list of issues that my 38A is suffering from.

#1 rusty leaky sunroof

# tatty interior

#2 a massive whack in the rear quarter panel that has been badly repaired, can these panels be replaced?

#3 soaking wet headliner which is caused by sunroof.

#4 loose rear quarter window which also leaks

#5 rotten towbar mount

#6 whining VCU

She's a 125k

"rare" monte-carlo blue range rover vogue, fully loaded.

Are the P38s worth restoring yet?

I've owned various classics

1991 plymouth blue 3.9 manual EFI
1989 Vogue Turbo D
1983 3spd auto vogue
1974 Tuscan Blue 3.5

all of these i with i had kept, something is telling me i will regret letting this P38 go to ruins.

Would it be worth restoring it to Show stopping condition?

I didn't pay too much for her.

I was looking on the bay just before Christmas and to me they already seemed to be much more expensive than when I bought mine 2 years ago but that just might be that not many people change their cars around Christmas.
That said, they will become classic cars eventually.
I've just been to the lakeland motor museum today and they had all the cars I was driving in the 80's.
If you had told me when I was 22 that my cortina 2.3ghia would be a classic in 25 years I would have laughed in your face.
Fact is, a good one is a pleasure to drive so I would say keep it useable and in another 10 years do a full restore and it will command a good price.
