Light in switch in cool box - Disco 4

Do I have to get the whole switch replaced or is it possible to get a bulb! If it is just a bulb, how do I get the switch out of the cool box?
I can accept the light not working but my husband finds it difficult to remember or see (age ) if it is On or OFF which means I have to keep a careful check if we do not need it.

A bit major that for a wee light bulb! It might be better to just watch my husband's moves more carefully it would certainly be cheaper!

always a pleasure to help where I can, alas haven’t found a bulb yet , does look like it has to come apart to get to it but not 100%

If I find anything I’ll certainly let u know, currently going through my manuals

Dymo gun and make some on/off labels?

I have left my D3 one on for god knows how long before I noticed, so I dont suppose its the end of the world, might be different in a D4 though!

alas can’t find where the bulb is, any ideas please as you’ve got one, fear that you’ve got to take some panels out to reach it, unless it’s soldered in

TBH no idea at all I never use the thing, its one of them gimmicks that you use a couple of times then totally forget about!

I think its an led rather than a bulb, so I would be thinking about opening the switch up and get soldering, but Im sure its not as easy as I like to think it would be.

Just thinking out loud to the op, I assume you have checked the cooler actually works?
