Has anyone used these rear light guards? They seem very reasonable but what quality are they....

or am I being tight?

:nospamhere:

I got a similar thing on mine.
But with LED lights they came from the same guy a while ago.

The guards are ok, but wouldnt take much of a battering from reversing into a tree etc.

They are plastic but a replacement lense is just as cheap and if you do hit a tree then I wouldn't worry about a rear lamp :)... They are okay and look nice but offer not a great deal of protection , bolt on bitz goes to all the LR shows and do nice horns rathet than the embarassing one on my 110 :) Give them a shot, not going to break the bank are you.

Any pics of the LED brake lamps? One of my minor worries is the poor brake lights on my 110... considering getting a 3rd hi lamp but interested in LED.... I am looking at buying LED spot lamps.... hardly any draw on your battery... sorry :hijacked: but only kind of :)

Looks great!, I like the idea of plastic, should help with branches and stuff.
I would rather the lights get broke than to rip out metal protectors.

Agreed JC, I'm also thinking of fitting a 3rd high level brake light. Natas, you point is spot on and yes they aren't a massive strain on the bank.

Those are the BOB LED NAS lookalikes and I have to admit I am not the biggest fan of them (in fact I think they look horrible but that is my own personal opinion).:(
I have the Le Perei ones on my 90 (NAS light OE manufacturer) and prefer them as they are not as 'bling', they also contain more LED's so when they are lit they provide more illumination but when off they are more in keeping with the vehicle. They cost more than the BOB lights but I personally think they look a whole lot nicer but it's like everything, it comes down to personal taste in the end. NAS lights themselves aren't to everyones taste so you pays your money and takes your choice.
