Light bars

Hey guys I'm hoping to be using my disco for a spot of laning and thought a light bar would be beneficial, a mate has thrown a spanner in by telling me a it LED light bars which look fantastic but seem a little costly
What do you guys think are standard lamps sufficient or save for LED?

i have a combination of both on my bar...the led ones outperform the standard ones..i personally think they are great

What have you got and what do they cost?

Anybody else using LED instead of spots?

I have the HID spots on mine, bloody fantastic !

I have an led light bar and the spread of light close to the vehicle is fantastic. So when driving off road and travelling slowly it lights up the area in front with less shadows for nasty holes or obstacles to hide in. Having said that we managed alright before they were invented didn't we.

I like the idea of mixing both together to cover both distance and spread
