Lift Kits???? help!!!

Already got:
1. TDi with a Teriferma 2" lift. (I find this abit rough/hard)
2. V8 with Britpart/ Gaz 2" lift. (way to soft)

both with 265/75/16 Insa Turbos.

Im thinking of selling both and getting a standard TDi Auto instead of manual.

A friend has a 5" lift with the same tyres but when iv been in his its a lot smoother on and off road and also has a lot more articulation and hasn’t had to chop the body to bits.

question is which lift kit? make height??
and
what else do i need to think about changing other than extended brake hoses??

with a 5" lift kit expect to change a lot of things...

propshafts, trailing arms,etc.etc..

like which way up your vehicle spends most of its time......

ok think ill stick with 2" lift just try a different make. and soemthing abit softer with more travel.
