LH side light problems

My truck is a standard 200tdi 90, 1992

My frong LH Side ligh only reads 10.6 volts at the front, and the bulb wont come on, the RH reads 11.9.
Also the the trailer LH lights dont light up - I beive these take off from this line.

Am I right to assume a damaged wire or connection somewhere? and if so where should I look, or should I run a new wire ? and if so where should I run it from, as their must be some take off somewhere for the trailer.. Im not an electrical person at all!

Ok. If you can go behind the plastic wheel arch you will find the loom that powers the light. Check voltage here.
You may need to clean the connector/joint
What voltage you getting at the fuse? These are fused each side

Ive checked the voltage under the arch and replaced thr bulb assembly as it wss okd and the voltage is still 10.8.
By fused both sjde what do you mean?

Is it all sidelights on the Left or just the front one...

Lots of land rover electrical issues are earth related,

Last time mine played up it was rodent related...

Just the left hand front one.
Weridly now i can get 11.2v in the socket now after fiddling around but the bulb wont come on.
I can connect the bulb in series and grt 11.v throigh any one of 10 bulbs in thr box ivr tried but none light up....
What could yhay be?

my rear played up and i ran a live to it from the front one, put in a fresh earth and it worked a treat

That was probably 5 years ago and it is still working

As temporary measure take an earth from lamp direct to batt earth and see what happens.
You are getting volts at the bulb but without enough amps the bulb will not light, it will just carry what little current it is getting through.
Cause is likely a poor connection in that line acting like a dimmer.
Test the lamp unit in the same way as above with direct line from batt live
