Not been here in a long time, but now there is a 101 section...

Here's mine It's currently running a 2.8TDI Isuzu lump retaining the LT95 gearbox, so the winch works too. The engine has just dropped from 400psi to 125psi on cylinder 1 though so it is due to be upgraded to the 3.1 Isuzu.

Transmission is running a Fairey overdrive, 4.7:1 ring and pinion as well as range rover transfer gears. This gives us cruising speeds of around 55mph @ 2200rpm She will pull to 70 quite happily running low boost and fuelling, not tried to go any faster. Fuel economy is around 27mpg running on cooking oil.

As you can see below, she is a showroom condition thing that we're afraid to use

...tried to negotiate a deal on a Isuzu powered one about a year ago but missed out

Awesome pics 91 Defender!! Glad to see others being used!!! Yeah, I pushed for a 101 section as the forum over here has a page, and we're very active.. You guys have a lot more 101's so I figured a 101 section wud be a hit! Get a thread going about the diesel mods! Cheers!
