Less Than 100 Miles & I need help!

If its been raining and you brake hard you can hear water in the roof, the shop say thats fine it's just the drain, but drain from what if the sunroof has not been open how can water be in there to drain off???

Something smells bad here & I'm not eating it!

i never had a sunroof that holds water in the roof. you need to find the drain point of the sunroof as it could be blocked.

just a guess but behind the rear quater panel on both sides is where i think you will find a drain hole. that where they are on most vehicles.

I have someone comming over tomorrow to try & help, Im not sure the main dealer has looked at this right! this should not happen not on something like this, they are a lot of money to be scrap within 4 years!

you need another opinion from another garage really as sounds like you bein stitched up id say. yes drain blocks are easy to rectify after you found the pipe.look up from where the water had been inside the boot it has to be coming from there. be warned about the stealers some are genuine honest people others are out to make quick buck keep the vehicle for day or 2 and do sweet f a really.

yes i totally agree with you, if i had spent that much on a rangie {tho that never happen} i be sick as a dog with little fault like this and the stealers ripping me off. that part of the reason this forum was established, to help out each other.

just in case your drain tube is split have alook on ebay on this item number.380083827351

If I can find other people that have had the same thing happen I can then get range rover to listen and do something about it, even if it means me taking them to court to do it!

Best of luck you nor the dealer can't find a simple leak and your going to sue them for what exactly, maybe it's because you didn't check the vehicle out before you bought it, just get your hands dirty and sort it out instead of whinging
