I say Hello to everyone....great people in the West but still trying to get the hang of Irish time. 2pm...hmmmm could mean anything from 2 - 2.30 :D still can't grumble; 5 pubs within 5 miles.....closing time is 'last man standin'
May have to change Defender for Disco though as backroads rattle the sh-t out of ya in the Defender.

let us know how you get on maisey..

I`ve got a next door neighbour whos a taffy but worked most his life on big road building projects and stuff, so most of his mates were Irish, now all retired, some english took the plunge and never looked back.
I get told tales of bog (peat) cutting & storing for winter and the like....
facisnating stories for me...

Hi, It's great so far. Though have decided to change Defender for Freelander sadly. Went up to Kinsale the other day and my sister (had brain haemorrhage 2010) felt sick as a dog with all the bumping about. Never complain about a UK road again ha ha.
Word at the Doctors is that most English go back to England when they get old (no chance). There are two types of English here; the type that fit in and the type that don't. We fit in because we are mix and are interested in becoming part of the community. The other type of English are the one's who have been everywhere, done everything and like to tell everyone. (yawn yawn)
The Irish are full of stories and I adore their expressions - "Oh, He buried his wife dead last week". I just love the Irish; probably because Dad's Mum was Irish so I have it in me.
