Hi all,

I've had a quick look at RAVE with regards to the electric headrests. Passenger side is working fine but drivers side not so much. No sounds of motors going or anything like that.

According to RAVE, you get access to the motor and drive behind the seat, removing the cover. Can anyone advise if the seat needs to be removed to do this or can it be done in-situ?

Cannot you check for power and continuity at the connectors beneath the seat ?

Well, kinda. The raise/lower doesn't work either - jut a lot of clunking. It's difficult to get access at the mo however I was asking more-so if that doesn't tell me what's going on I'll need to strip down anyway - want to be prepared!

Covers can be got off in the car, but easier with the seat out.

Seat out easiest. If motor is duff fairly simple, if cable is duff at top back cover needs to come off.

Thanks guys. Guess it's a case of trying and seeing what's going on. If it's a seat out job I may as well find out what's up with the seat base height adjustment too as well as replacing the heating element!
