leaky fuel tank

i've managed to put a 2mm hole in my diesel tank up near the top.
i've seen something thats supposed to be good called perol patch before i give it a go anybody got any other ideas

chemical metal works well on fuel tanks, have seen it done meself

i've screwed in a s/s self tapper with a tight rubber o ring seems ok so far 'if not chemical metals next

I've used Petro patch many times. Easy to apply and totally good results

I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering how you "managed" to put a hole in your tank? Come on spill the beans

Self-tapper or even better a blind rivet with a fibre washer under its head.

Who drilled the hole in the tank?

2mm hahaha il post a pic of my tank tomorrow, am lucky it got me to the side of the road when it decided to bust ! , hole the size of yer foot
yer could always gas weld it , empty it out and fill with water, pm for more info , done a few this last year or so,

i know this is going to sound fn stupid but it was me i was drilling a hole in the seat box and forgot there was a tank in behind doh ffs

yeah fraid so mate, thers a tank behind there , :doh:
