Leaking

Its a bit of a pig to replace the entire length, especially without access to a pit or ramp. I'd suggest fixing it at the point of the leak. You might get away with cutting it with a knife at and then rejoining with a 6mm pushfit connector. Failing that use brass inserts on each side and then join with rubber pipe and jubliee clips.

Ahh, mine hasnt got any high tech stuff like that , guessing we're talking hydraulics under reasonable pressure. Probs not going to be something you can bodge.

No it can't be patched up,so it's booked in to get all that crap ripped out an roll bars pit in.

A few people ask on the various forums about this process, it would probably be helpful if you post back and tell us how much this is costing you (mine was done before I bought it).

It's booked in for the 2nd June at B.L.R.C in Saintfield. I have been given a price of £478 all in. However we will see, but they have done a good few so should be around that anyway. For now I can't park in my driveway and will have to keep topping her up.

Work all done to the Disco and reaaly it drives the same, I don't know why Landrover bothered with ace in the first place. Total cost was £427 so a little cheaper than expceted.

I havnt got ACE on my Disco, and it drives round corners great !. It doesnt feel in any way like its " rolling all over the place ".

Del.
