Leaking rad

Ok so the turd I have bought seems to have a fairly new rad in it, but it is leaking between the plastic header and the core......I was thinking dose it with K-Seal but not sure if that will seal that sort of leak???

I don't really want to spend any money on it if I can avoid it as its a temp vehicle while I fix my disco!

Can you not crimp it with a clamp or something to tighten the seal before you use K seal

I have done this myself, if you go round and tighten all the little tags you could possibly stop the leak anyway .the seal may have given over time .worth a try I would have thought

But if you have to go down the radseal road get the "dog turd" type not the liquid. Any motor factor will know what you mean and won't throw you out thinking your round the bend.
