On my TD5 engine there's a ridge just under the oil filter which is caked in grubby dirt.

Under that ridge, the dirt is glistening and, further down, a nice drip is forming near the engine drain point.

The other side is all clean (perhaps the coolant leak keeps it that way :))

Is there a known leak point on a TD5 somewhere beneath the oil filter on that side of the engine?

Could be the oil filter itself leaking, they are an bastard to get to and maybe not tightened properly

jet was it off, use it for a day or so and bobs ur unle fannys ur aunt youkl have found where leak is, but my gues is the filter or loose pipe at the filter

The fuel pressure regulator leak I have is now undeniable.
I suspect this is spewing so much fuel now it'll start covering the PAS filler! :)

I'll get that sorted, pressure wash her and see what still leaks.

Cheers

If its not the oil filter itself. It could also be the oil filter housing gasket . That's were mine was leaking from. It's only a 5'er to replace. LVH100230 Gasket-oil filter housing
