Leak from back drum brake??

Hi all

I have just noticed a drip from the bottom of the back driver side drum on my 90, it looks to me like oil as opposed to brake fluid.

Not had the beast long so still learning, I know there is oil in the front CV joints, but is ther oil in the back hubs too?

If not, assuming it is not brake fluid (which I am pretty sure it is not), where could it be coming from? The axle maybe?

Hope you can help, on here every day now!

Got a bit despondent to start with when I kept finding things wrong, but I read a quote about a land rover being like triggers broom which cheered me up a bit.

its definitely oil not brake fluid.


is there a step by step anywhere for this? I was looking through busters list but could not see it.

I want to make sure I have all the right bits before I pull it apart.

Anything else I should think about doing while I have that lot apart?
