G'day Folks,

The rear springs on my 1965 series 2a station wagon are shot.

This is the 12 seater version - sold as a bus. It has the 8 leaf "heavy duty" type on the rear.

I believe the part numbers are

272967 and 272968

Has anyone here bought these before and if so would you buy them from where you got them again?

The box shifting suppliers seem to sell them for about half the price of these chaps (who say they do a good job) =>

Nick.
Oh right I found that page too. They only seem to sell parabolic springs. I want to have the original bone jarring experience!

Afraid I don't know that company.

If you are looking to upgrade, check these out, they are arguably the best springs you can get for a leafer.

Rocky Mountain spares do a cheaper version of the Heystee design which are also very good.

Thanks I got the impression those manufacturers were pretty good for parabolics but I think I'm going to start out stock and see how it goes.

Paddock parts.....
UK made springs.....
Wont get a better price....
World wide delivery...

X1 for Paddock or Craddock if you want original springs.

Paddock and Craddock - sound like a right pair! 1960's London mob members? Or even a name of a Land Rover fanatic's pub? (Off down the Paddock and Craddock tonight?)

Thanks for the advice.

Yeah know what you mean. Just a coincidence names. Oooh I've got a right bad dose of the Craddocks must those Paddocks I eat and the damp weather .

He he - Scottish accent - hadn't thought of that =>

"A bad dose of the Craddocks" would sound like something you wouldn't want.
