When did the Freelander 2 start production?

I am pretty sure reg 56 was was the change over. 1997 they started?

56 reg was sept 2006 to February 2007.

There's a very small amount of 07's about, but very very few, last manufactured in 2006

I am pretty sure the 07 are late registered freelanders. You will be very lucky to find them.

Then again it's only a number on a plate. I have private plate so you would never know how old it is only how well it's looked after

All I was wondering was when production stopped for the FL1 & resumed for the FL2.

FL1 was built at Solihull, and FL2 is built at Halewood so production may have overlapped while they built up stock for release of FL2.
