Lanes in Gilmorton, Leicester

Was bored today so thought I would take a lane hunting session why my girlfriend was at work. Found some brilliant lanes in Gilmorton, Leicester







These are in a woods down a lane called Gilmorton Lane it has a sign saying 'Not Suitable for road vehicles' there's a lot more down there but I got excited and only got a couple of photos haha

Looks good, think I will check it out tomorrow night

Looks good-even for my little Freelander 1.
Next time I have to pick up son from Loughborough University I will make sure to check them out.
Is it easy to find?

Looks like a good lane. If you know a good route or two to make an afternoon or day of it, I'd be up for joining you. Also got one or two people from my club that might be interested too.

The lanes are all scattered in a line there pretty easy to find and they are good fun for a 10/15 minute drive from my house, I like going there to clear my head

Me and my bro went and had a look, they're good lanes, was a nice drive. there's was 1 part we didn't do which was just a mud run (see the 2nd picture above, those ruts are a lot worse now!)

Will be going back there again soon to test out my new tyres and lift kit

Plenty round here, just been out on them today. Nice and muddy, few deep puddles!! There’s a Dacia Discovery 4x4 YouTube which has also got videos on all these lanes too!! Defo worth the run if you’re nearby!
