How about a thread that explains all the different abbreviations and technical terms used on the forum. If there is one already on the go, I couldn't find it using a search, and would appreciate a link to the thread.
I just think that many people (me included) could use a bit of help understanding some of whats going on between more tech minded members..Rock:confused:

90 = Clean, comfortable smooth, luxurious, well equipt, rust free, erm! car, only with attitude, and perhaps a bit mucky and uncomfortabley rough with a minimalistic touch and perhaps a spot of rust here and there. But plenty of attitude.

breaks. summat to stop yur landy with.

didnt know there was anything goin on between the tech minded members.
i think we should be told, eh?

Sounds like a good idea . Just make up a long alphabetical list of all the words you cant understand and well get back to you. Meanwhile try growing tomatoes on Ailsa Craig.

SERIES - Classic motors, underpowered. Rattle your fillings out!

FREELANDER - Pretend landrover (Daihatsui owners deserve more respect!)

DISCO - Big cumbersome, unlandrover-like "cars". - 1000000 times better than a freelander!

90 - The mutts nuts!

110 - Happy camper!

RANGIE - Comfort at the cost of big fuel bills!

aint it funny how people slate disco's and then when building a hybrid they use a 100 inch chassis, how can the disco be big and cumbersome and the 110 be great, its shorter than a 100. the true defenition of a disco is a happy medium between a defender and a rangie , its got the same running gear and there are plenty done up like a dogs dinner fer off roading. lets be honest if we are explaining things to peopleand as fer the freelander, i suppose given the choice i would rather drive a gaylander than a pile of jap poo ;)
