Does anyone know of any insurance companies that will insure my brother who is only 24 and needs guaranteed value for his vehicle. We have already tried Adrian Flux, Lancaster, Frank Pickle, N.F.U, & few others, He needs the guaranteed value because he built the landy himself from the ground up an has a lot of expensive parts on it and because it is M reg they are all saying they will only give him book value.he has more then 10k in receipts just on parts alone.

go to a insurance broker, not just ainsurance company.brokers can sort out all sorts of problems.;)

i thought any of those would, for a small fee, give you a guaranteed valuation - Lancaster offer one for free to me (though i dont bother, recon the book values more!)

...
oh, wait, just saw you are based in liverpool. That'll be it then. Try moving first.. :) :)

Adrian Flux will give me an agreed valuation on my Series 2a (I am 29, so not much older than your friend) at no extra cost - all they ask for is pictures at angles and a list of work completed.

Footman James - insured me at 18 with zero no claims bonus on my 110 CSW in my own name for £754. Not bad imho! It's on a classic policy, so the only stipulation is that you join a relevant owners club - apparently LZ wasn't goot enough for them  so I've joined the Series 3 90/110 owners club. Get a little magazine, some stickers and a members card... not really sure I will make use of it, but it's worth it for the cheap insurance.
