just thought i would come and say hi after buying my first landrover 200tdi 1991
So hi! I'm Luke and i live in lincoln
I brought this Landy with 1 months mot and no tax but it has had a bit of money spent on it over the last couple of years on recon gearbox and transfer box new boot floor welded in front sills done, new brake servo and 1 inch lift kit stainless exhaust and bigger tyres, even though this was a impulse buy i am loving the ride and the way it handles.
I' ve only had it a week and stuck it in for an mot to see what it needed, i was pleasantly surprised when it was only very minor things that it needed to pass, brake light and fog light on the rear off side needed tinkering with think it was a bad connection and headlights needed securing and the aim adjusting and an advisory on a small oil leak on one of the hubs so just cleaned it up. All in all it cost me £71 to get a years ticket on it and that included the mot test which was £35
So now i'm looking forward to get the inside tidy and the outside too,
a few things that need sorting out is the rear door won't open, the handle has seized solid so been wd40ing it, so been reading how to sort that out on here, the heater is very poor but think that is a common problem too and no interior light lol so really only minor things but things that need sorting
