td5 worked fine then one day would not start. all that happened over night was very heavy rain.
noticed key fob wouldnt open doors. when key in ignition lights came on dash but nothing else, like the battery was dead.
took to garage couldnt get reader to connect to vehicle so no help where problem is.after vehicle was at garage it was very very sunny for a week. it was parked downhill with the right wheel jacked up high while it was getting new wheel, was left on jack for a week.
i tried the key fob by chance then it opened the doors. put key in ignition then it fired up and drove fine for days until.........
it rained again!!
ive took out the responder in middle sunroof and dried out never worked when replaced.
the jeep is damp at mo due to weather. im pretty certain when its sunny for a while it will start again.
like i said if the key fob works the jeep fires up. if the key fob doesnt work its just dead.
can hear a slight clicking near my feet when turn key sometimes.
any ideas to how i can overide the immobilisor to start the jeep at least until its sunny and jeep has fully dried out

It's not a jeep, it's a landrover.
Also, why was it parked on a hill and left on a jack for a week? On a hill?

What diagnostic kit did the garage have?
It will soon be spring anyway so your luck will change.

hello, it was outside my house on a hill. but i changed the wheel so the right side front was higher than the rest, just saying how land rover was parked when eventually fired up.
the garage was land rover is was the proper dealership.
