Landrover 90 styling?!

Hi All.

I have been a member for a long time but only just got my first landy. its a defender 90 with a 200 2.5 disco engine. not collected yet but will be doing so next week.

i wanted to ask some questions about styling. i have seen a few nice machines that have been raised up and had like curved wings fitted and also a modern grill etc.

what are these curved wings called? i read extreme somewere but i have googled and found nothing. is the grill integral to this and what do you guys recon about the styling and reccomendations ect .

They're std wings that someone has cut down :doh:

What you see there is a modification where the original wings have been removed and a tubular framed conversion fitted. Plenty of people manufacture & sell them but I have attached a link to Protection & performance so you can see how they are put together.

I think you need an external cage to properly attach those challenge style wings?

thanks for the help guys. i figured it was a cosmetic that someone had done to match the curved tubular bars on the front. what i didn't know was if it was an off the shelf mod or something people just did.
