Hi guys, first post on this forum so be nice ;)

My stepfather is looking at getting a rangerover, we were looking at about a 2004-2005 one with low miles around the 20k mark.

Now we know that the approved warranty is around the £1300 mark, but how long will land rover cover it for, is there an age or mileage where they will refuse to provide cover?

And why are disco's so bloody expensive pre-owned!!

Many thanks

Jordan

Put the equivalent amount that LR want aside over 3-5 years and it will cover a major disaster if it occurs.

I may be wrong, but i think approved warranty means you MUST have the vehicles serviced at a named garage and what it covers will be limited. This servicing will cost top dollar, it maybe better to fore go the £1,300.00 and get it serviced at a good independant for a lot less money. The £1,300.00 could be used if needed for anything that crops up. Your first problem is finding a 2004/5 with 20k on it.
