Land Rover Series 3 Chassis

Hi,
A question for all.
I am currently undergoing a nut and bolt rebuild on my 1975 series 3, the question is do i replace the original Chassis with a new galvanized one or keep my original Chassis?
My original Chassis is in very good condition, only been driven for 20k miles with no major areas of rust or damage. I am not looking to sell the finished car immediately and will be holding on to it for the foreseeable future, being driven very few miles a year.
If anyone has any thoughts, do let me know.

If it’s in such good condition refurbish the original chassis. The provenance of originality should be reflected in the value.

Get as much of your original metalwork galvanized and regalvanized.

Goggle search it in your area, bound to be a local place.

You can get your balls chromed too if that helps
