Land Rover 90 with 2.8td DL52 conversion

Hi All
New to ownership of a 90 C Reg with a 2.8td DL52 conversion. Its in extremely good condition after respray and all the fancy upgrades. Only problem is that it has a lack of power. top speed OK but christ: its like waiting for the sun to come up to get there.. Any pointers would be great
