hi there, i have a land rover 200 tdi bleeding problems,

i have been having this problem as where you can drive for a few100 yards and then it will just die? and start juddering?? then it will start up after a min or two, then just keeps doing the same thing?

i got it home change the fuel filter tried to bleed it but the pump dose not appear to be pulling fuel dose not bleed?? any one got any ideas??

cheers Tom

not familiar with 110 tank end of pipes but try turning over with bleed open , if still nothing as said lift pump or blockage . they will normaly run with u/s lift pump just not pull well ,so blockage likely to me

Does the lift pump feel like it is trying to pump, or is it flopping about??? Have you checked the lines for it dragging air in anywhere???
Hi, lines seem OK no damage or wet patches, i have put an air line on the feed pipe and i can hear it bubbling in the tank and i cant see/hear any leaks on the pipe, lift pump feels like there is no resistance and no fuel at the bleed screw even with the engine running, but the engine will start and run for a few minutes so it must be getting some fuel,
thanks for all the help so far Tom.
