Hi all,

I have a defender 90 TD5 (2000) and have a bit of a snag. Whenever I get to the biting point with the clutch/accelerator I lose all power - no revs, nothing! If I switch the engine off and on again I can rev the engine no problem but as soon as I get to the biting point again the power dies and I can't rev the engine at all. I've read a few threads on this but I'm non the wiser. I've removed the clutch swith on the master cylinder but when I do this I can't rev the engine at all. I've replaced the injector loom and cleaned out the connections to the ECU. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Welcome.:)

Can’t really help with your issue, I know your handbrake is off:eek::)

But you really need to ask tech type question in here.

And somebody will be along to help. Sure it’s something simple.

This is a sort of shows us what you got (vehicle) and abit about ya.

Good luck.
