Hi all
One the turbos on my tdv8 have just given up the ghost. I’ve read on here on quite a few threads of turbo replacement. However, everyone seems to get mixed up with the sport and the discovery on turbo replacement thinking that the body needs to be separated which is not true of the l332. my question is has anyone
Ever on here done the turbos on the TD V8, and if so is it doable as I have heard it is but not sure how to do it with the engine in situ?

Its all doable, with time and good kit, Probably need a big swear jar too;).

Yours is 2003??
My files are 2007-2010, so would may have a few variations in detail.
You dont say which side as they differ too.
1 side says AC pump off, exhaust bits.
Engine mount off so engine has some up/down movement, access. Even talk about half shafts an/or diffs

Both side have a million heat shields, and say remove wheel to get in. Loads of little bits off from the top, AC drain down, Partial coolant drain.
Loads of these the instructions I have found dont often need to be done so you would have to feel your way through.

What facilities do you have?
Good luck if you do take it on take plenty of pics, many would like to see it I am sure:).
