Replaced abs module 4 times now and still not found by any of my diagnostics.

I have a foxwell, bmw scanner 1.4 and inpa.

All other modules communicate.

I have checked cable harness for live and earth's and seem to good.

Soooo I am at a loss.

I also have a a can bus fault.

I also have an android touch screen retro fitted in replacement of original stereo.

Can someone point me in a direction?

Yeah I'm thinking the android unit may have done something.
I hear issues regarding the lcm. I have disconnected both headlights to see if I can communicate with abs. But still cannot.
I have diagrams of all the buses.

The canbus error is logged in suspension and bcm.

Would a canbus on say a speed sensor cause diagnostic to not communicate?

As far as I am aware, canbus is seperate to the diagnostics line.
Some setup this like. Headache

These are the diagrams
As can be seen, abs module communicates via canbus to sensors etc and to instrument cluster. Now I have abs warnings on dash, would this suggest abs module IS communicating on the canbus?
I see the diagnostic socket is connected to abs module via ds2 bus.

I think I have a canbus error on the canbus and I have an issues with the ds2 line from socket to abs module. Seperate issues.

I should still be able to communicate with abs module via ds2 network, which then should show faults on the abs. Including a canbus fault.

Ie as can be seen communicating with suspension module via ds2 network, login, scan suspension module, error shows canbus fault.

But abs module not found so I cannot check for errors, code nothing.

SOLVED!!!!!

After checking headlight level ecu, and found none present, I then went onto check ds2 line and to fit a seperate wire from obd socket direct to ds2 pin on abs module.
When stripping wire, it broke at abs connector. Scraped out all the green corrosion and found a wire. Dropped in some solder, then soldered a new section of wire in.

All lights off. Calibrated steering angle sensor.

Jobs a good un.

FYI ds2 line is white with purple stripe.

4 abs modules later........
