L322 tailgate badges

Are the 'Land Rover' badges on the tailgate stuck on, or actually 'pinned' into the tailgate? Want to remove one but dont want to leave a hole in the bodywork

Also, any techniques or tips on removal?

There are stuck on, I've used dental floss, although I have heard that using "fishing wire" is good also. slide the floss/ wire behind the badge and cut through the adhesive then polish out the residue

heat it up with a hair dryer first and it comes off really easy when its hot
