L322, how to refit power headrests?

Hi,

Very happy new 2008 L322 owner, one thing I've noticed is the drivers side power headrest goes up as it should, but not down. You can hear the motor but have to push it down by hand. I assume it's been removed at some point and not reinstalled properly.

Quick search, a few threads on how to remove them (fully extend and then pull up firmly) but nothing about how to reinstall? Is it as simple as doing the opposite? Just fully extend and push down firmly and it attaches somehow with whatever mechanism is in the seat?

Or is it more complicated than that??

If it was mine, I would try the simple, reverse of removal is how to fit, technique. Other than that, not sure what date RAVE goes up to , but that or TOpix , would seem to be the best place to check, in the absence of the gurus.

Yes, it was that simple. Just push down when extended and it clicks into place. Sorted, thanks.

There is a male ball at the base of each headrest bar that engage in a female receptacle on either end of the rise and fall arm. And that was in no way intended to be rude just the way it is.
