L322 heated steering wheel fault

Hi there I have recently returned to Landrover after a disastrous experience with a Mercedes GL....

I have purchased a 2012 L322 Autobiography that has a Kahn interior the heated steering wheel only stays on 3 minutes during which it heats considerably more on the right hand side. The button light then goes out and will not activate again untill the car Is re-started.

The wheel had the kahn branding on a LR Autobiography gloss black logo at the bottom of the wheel and ties in nicely with the rest of the interior. Not sure if it matters but I also have the paddles and the distronic cruise control leaver etc can I purchase just the wheel skeleton and would I be right that is 99%the heater coil that has failed......

I am looking forward to get some gloves comments

You beat me to it.

Have a look on youtube, powerfuluk (think its all one word) did a video about steering wheels, think basic wheel all the same just swop bits over.
