LAst coupel of times I've parked up the L322, set it to access mode (mrsblonde is only 5ft 2"), let it lower completely, then got out and locked it. As we walked away the front (and possibly rear, but didnt see it) re-adjusted a coupel of times, raising and lowering til it was happy with itself?

Is this normal, and why does it do it?

Thanks in advance guys

yes this is normal mine does it, if you park on a bit of a slope or the ground is uneven the car will adjust its self to make itself level either by raising or lowering the individual airbags. My drive is on a very small slope (you cant really tell unless you look hard) when i park up and lock the doors you can hear the air being released from the airbags to lower one side of the car to make it level. Thats what the height sensors are for, it ensures the car is always level. When your driving along it will be constantly be re adjusting itself to ensure an always level drive.

Second what Matt said. I had about 1/2 tone of flags in the back the other day and started off looking at the sky but soon enough was fully level. The compressor must have been working over time.

Does anyone know if the access setting can cause battery drain?

Every time I've used our 2004 Vogue I lower the suspension to access mode. The car is parked on a hill. By morning the battery is dead. The computers don't seem to have shut down properly as the D is lit.

My wife never lowers the suspension and has never run the battery flat. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?
