Hello All!

New to the forum and a Range Rover owner of 2 days! ... and loving it.

Here's my first question on this forum as I configure the car to my needs and get to know it better.

I have paired my mobile phone to the car (HTC One) but the phonebook is not loaded, is there something I am doing wrong or can I do anything to make the car see my phonebook?

If not, are there any upgrades/mods which I can do which will enable this through the standard audio system?

I am happy to look at all options including something like a Parrot, but want to be able to control through the system.

The car is a 2006 Vogue TD6.

Thanks

Mark.

After further research it seems I am able to answer my own question for the benefit of anyone else who searches for an answer.

It seems that Land Rover have a known fix for the address book issue , which is simply a 60 minute software update. Although getting them to admit to it is one thing and getting them to commit to doing it is another...then they wont guarantee it either. - I was quoted £75 with no guarantees.

There is however an alternative, one of our fellow 'rovers' (if that the collective noun) has an exchange service which effectively costs £70, so this gives you some level of guarantee as her is sending a known good unit to you.

I am still assessing other options at the moment, so cant speak from experience, but thought you should all know.

The address is www.bluetoothexchange.co.uk

Regards

Mark.
