Hi all, hope your able to help on this one.
My RRSport 2010 3.0 tdv6 has developed slight leaks to both front and rear Active Stability Control units. The leaks are only slight but I know they will only get worse. Reading through all the forums and comments it appears that they aren't repairable and need full replacement. Also, comments are made that you can replace them with solid bars from the Discovery 4. which are a lot cheaper than the £700 each for front and rear. I'm cautions about buying second hand units as they may leak in the short term. From what I've read this active stability is to give better articulation for off road and does very little for on road use - is this correct? My use is on road and towing and therefore would seam like a reasonable solution - if possible. Has anybody any constructive thoughts on why to do it or not to do it.
