KPH Speedo Head/Dial

Hi all,

Any of you good folk out there know were I can get my hands on a KPH speedo head or dial?

I realise that this mainly applies to the overseas members but who knows what is tucked away out there!

Hi zhoey,

I live in Cyprus which drives on the left as UK but road signs in KPH, Freelander from UK in MPH; hence request.

I am in Malaysia and we have km/h speedos. You could easily purchase a used one over here.

Hi zhoey,

Problem here is that the majority of Freelander 1's have been imported from the UK and have MPH as the predominant figures on the dial. Also you could have bought a new Mk1 with this set up 'cos it's street legal as long as KPH is on the dial.

I want to have KPH as the main figures and the chances of finding a used KPH speedo are low.

Now if you could source one for me.....clearly I would cover all cost's.

Malaysia & most of SE Asia have gone metric for many decades and so has Australia. So car imports by regulation have to have km/h as the main reading.
My car is in the spray shop for a minor accident repair and should be back later tomorrow. I will take a pic for you.

............and you realize that no one will sell you just a used speedo head........you'll have to buy the complete instrument panel.

There was a few on Ebay a month or so ago, brand new complete speedo pack, in KPH

Think they were only wanting £40 or so for it...
